A Nursery of Tiny Baby Animals For Weekend Whimsy

Like babies? Well, what about baby animals?

People love babies. It's absolutely evolutionary that we should look at a baby and think, "aww!" Their tiny faces, their squishy eyes, their innocent just seeping off of them. Some people want to hold a baby whenever they see one. And then there are some people who prefer a different type of baby. A baby animal that is.

Baby animals have captured our hearts and minds for as long as we've known. A baby cow, kitten, puppy, baby bird, or baby bear are all deep in our hearts and keep us saying, "aww." Part of the appeal is because of their innocence; just like humans, baby animals are experiencing everything for the first time, and when we see their wobbly legs, or their blinking little eyes, our hearts melt. Their curiosity is so endearing, and when we watch them explore the world it makes us want to follow and watch, protect, and look out for them.

When the weekend hits, we all want rest, comfort, and a sense of something tender. Baby animals are the perfect thing for a night alone, a morning scroll during coffee, or a pastime during your afternoon walk. In a world that can often feel complicated, baby animals offer a refreshing dose of uncomplicated happiness. A bunny hopping through a garden, a calf running across a field, or a sleepy kitten curled into a tiny ball can instantly brighten someone's day. They don't need to do anything extraordinary. Their very existence seems to radiate warmth.

I'm definitely the type to want to pet a dog whenever I see one. They're just too cute and irresistible to ignore! I will stop mid conversation or sentence for the chance to embrace a furball, to point out to everyone and stop everything that's happening. My favorite kind of dog is a Shiba Inu, but I like all of them. There's something about their cute little mischievous face and little toosh that drive me crazy. But I'm also a cat person. I have a 5-year-old stripped tabby at home, and he's the love of my life. He's a bit chubby, and a bit on the scale. But he's my lovely baby boy.
